Sarah Dale
MSc., RP, RSW, RMFT (she/her)
Director (Owner)
Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She is also a Certified Sex Therapist and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT). Her practice has a focus on relationship and sex therapy concerns with both individuals and couples, as well as trauma-informed care. Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Brock University, and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Niagara University. Sarah’s training included the completion of a 1000-hour clinical internship, which involved over 700 hours of direct client contact and over 100 hours of supervision. Sarah has extensive training in Couple Therapy. She has received over 200 hours of clinical supervision in relational and sex therapy post-graduation. Sarah has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) approaches.

Couple Therapy Training
Sarah has completed the post-graduate Certificate in Couple and Family Therapy Studies from the University of Guelph. She has pursued advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and has completed over 200 hours of clinical supervision in relational therapy since graduating. Sarah is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist with the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT).
Sex Therapy Training
Sarah is a Certified Sex Therapist with The Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy and Counselling in Ontario (BESTCO). To become a Certified Sex Therapist with BESTCO, Sarah undertook a process of rigorous training and passed two formal evaluations before earning the designation of Certified Sex Therapist. As a sex therapist, Sarah has helped individuals and couples experiencing sexual challenges including low desire, erectile difficulties, premature ejaculation, pelvic pain, penetration difficulties, and other sexual concerns that impact individuals and relationships.
Sarah's Experience
Sarah has provided counselling and therapy in a variety of settings, including at a crisis line and in an outpatient clinic at a hospital in the Niagara Falls, NY area. She has also worked in an inpatient addiction rehabilitation facility in the Toronto area, where she provided counselling and support to individuals receiving intensive treatment for substance abuse.
Sarah works with clients to identify barriers to maintaining emotional well-being, as well as on improving relationships and identifying dysfunctional patterns. She helps individuals with concerns such as anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, post-traumatic stress, and relationships. Sarah supports couples experiencing challenges including communication, conflict resolution, emotional intimacy, sexual intimacy, and infidelity. Elisa Gores
MSW, RSW (she/her)
Associate
Elisa is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Anthropology from Barnard College and her Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Elisa’s graduate degree included 1100 hours of clinical internships focused on mental health counselling. During her graduate degree and post-graduation, Elisa has sought out specialized training in couple and relationship therapy, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. She also has training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy.

Sex Therapy Training
Elisa is an Associate Member with the Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy and Counselling in Ontario (BESTCO). Elisa’s training in sex therapy considers the many negative and shameful narratives perpetuated in our society in addition to the biological, emotional, and relational factors that may contribute to an individual’s or relationship’s concerns. With a firm belief that every person is entitled to the intimacy they want, Elisa works with individuals and relationships experiencing low desire, pain during sex, gender or body dysphoria, premature ejaculation, and erectile difficulties. Elisa is experienced in working with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+, poly, and kink/BDSM communities.
Elisa's Experience
Prior to joining East Toronto Therapy, Elisa’s experience included providing therapy within a university setting and working as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault and gender-based violence. Elisa has also worked as a peer educator specializing in sexual health and healthy relationships.
Elisa is committed to empowering clients to forge their own path toward healing with kindness, empathy, non-judgement, and creativity. She is experienced in working with members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, navigating consensual non-monogamy and polyamory, and is committed to fostering an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and accessible practice and recognizes that this will be a lifelong and imperfect process.

Stephanie Aniol
MSW, RSW (she/her)
Associate
Stephanie is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work, both from York University. Through the course of her degrees, she completed 1150 hours of field placements with a focus on mental health counselling. During and after her formal education, she pursued additional trainings in CBT, Narrative Practice, The Gottman Method Level 1, Acceptance & Commitment Theory and Trauma-Informed Care. While Stephanie tailors her therapeutic approach to individual client need, what is consistent is her focus on building collaborative, non-judgemental, trusting and respectful relationships with every client that she serves. Stephanie works from relational and strengths-based perspectives, and is known for bringing kindness, levity and care to her work with clients.

She has completed Gottman Level 1 and engages in a rigorous program of ongoing training and skills development in couple therapy. Stephanie supports couples experiencing communication difficulties, emotional and sexual intimacy concerns, and infidelity.
Sex Therapy Training
Stephanie is an Associate Member with the Board of Examiners in Sex Therapy and Counselling in Ontario (BESTCO). Stephanie’s training in sex therapy has been from a systemic approach, looking at the concern in the context of biological, social, psychological, and relational factors that may contribute to creating and maintaining the concern in an individual or couple’s life. As a sex therapist, Stephanie works with individuals and couples experiencing sexual challenges such as premature ejaculation, erectile difficulties, low desire, and problems with penetration. Stephanie has a particular passion for supporting women experiencing pelvic pain.
Stephanie's Experience
Stephanie has had the privilege of working with a diverse clientele through the course of her career as a social worker. She has worked with students in a post-secondary setting, and individuals grappling with the psychosocial impacts of a chronic health diagnoses; as such, she is experienced in supporting clients managing a myriad of challenges but especially life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, identity, loss, anxiety, depression, and the impacts of trauma.

Adrian Pasen
MA, RP (she/her)
Associate
Adrian is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She received her Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Adrian has also received training in various therapeutic modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method and Narrative Therapy.

Couple Therapy Training
Adrian has received training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method. She has completed Gottman Level 1 and is actively pursuing further training in family and couple therapy. Adrian works to support couples undergoing a variety of concerns, including communication difficulties, infidelity, addiction and emotional distance.
Sex Therapy Training
Adrian is actively pursuing training in sex therapy, and also engages in regular clinical supervision in sex therapy. She strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental and validating space for clients to explore and work through sexual issues. Adrian works with individuals and couples to address a variety of sexual concerns, including low and mismatched desire, painful sex and erectile difficulties.
Adrian's Experience
Adrian has worked in community mental health and private practice settings, providing counselling and therapy to diverse populations in Guelph, Bolton, Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area.
In between completing her degrees, Adrian worked with many different groups and life stages, including helping women refugees with cultural adjustment in Berlin, providing employment counselling to youth and new immigrants to Toronto, and empowering girls as a drum instructor at Toronto Girls Rock Camp.
Adrian has experience supporting clients managing various challenges. She has a particular focus on sexuality, anxiety, grief, trauma, PTSD, hoarding and unexpected DNA discoveries. She works to meet her clients where they are, acknowledging and validating existing and past challenges, while collaboratively supporting alternate stories and new realities. She aims to work from a person-centred, trauma-informed lens, integrating elements of narrative therapy, compassion-based therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy and EFT to help clients uncover their own unique strengths and innate resilience.

Amna Baig
MSW, RSW (she/her)

Amna is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She received her undergraduate degree in social work from McMaster University, and completed her Masters of Social Work (with advanced standing) at the University of Toronto. Her education included completion of several mental health based internships. Amna has received training invarious therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She draws upon these approaches in her work with clients, and is committed to providing anti-oppressive and culturally informed practice to individuals and couples.

Amna's Experience
Amna has over seven years of experience working in the Greater Toronto Area with a diverse clientele from community mental health organizations and private practices. She has worked with students, adults and families to help them through intersecting issues through a client-centered and strengths-based approach. Her work is about understanding and improving her clients’ lives by focusing on the systems that influence their mental and physical well-being. She has worked with clients experiencing high levels of anxiety and depression and others struggling with grief, life transitions, immigration issues and interpersonal relationships.
Amna provides therapy in Urdu, Hindi, French and English based on her clients’ comfort. She firmly believes in applying an intersectional framework to fully capture relationship experiences, and she is dedicated to furthering her education to better support her clients.
