What is the screening process for the Intensive Couple’s Therapy?

After the $500 reservation and screening fee has been received, we will reserve an intensive couple’s therapy timeslot for you. Both partners will be provided with an intake form which they must return within five days. The therapist will review the intake forms and then conduct a 30-minute intake interview with each partner by telephone.

Should you decide that you are no longer interested in attending intensive couple’s therapy, there is no further payment required. In the case that the therapist determines that intensive couple’s therapy is not right for you, no further payment is required.

If both partners and the therapist determine that the intensive couple’s therapy is a good fit, you will be given two additional assessment forms which must be returned within five days.

The therapist will review the second set of assessment forms as a second screening tool to ensure that intensive couple’s therapy is a good fit for you. If both partners and the therapist decide that intensive couple’s counselling is appropriate, one half ($1350) of the remaining fee ($2700) is due. If either the therapist or one of the partners decides that intensive couple’s counselling is not appropriate, no further payment is required.
